Toxic Gas at the Tbilisi International Airport

On 4 June, Counter Intelligence Department of Georgian Intelligence Office detained a Russian citizen – Dimitry B.

The Investigation conducted by the Counter Intelligence Department of Georgian Intelligence Office.

Toxic gas poisoned several people. Tbilisi airport claims that poisoned individuals are employees of the airport.

According to Toxicologist Otar Dikhaminjia, Head of Emergency Department, gas poisoned seven people. Patients discharged after several hours of treatment.

According to Dikhaminjia, it is unknown what substance has caused toxicity.

Due to toxic gas, two patients had inflammation of the mucous membrane of the eye. One had skin blisters along with the eye’s mucous membrane inflammation.

Patients had dizziness, nausea, irritability of the mucous membrane of the eye. None of this was critical or unstable.
